Robert Whelan has been a WCR Presenter since the Summer of 2008. Robert has worked as an actor for many years; he was going to be a dentist but didn’t want to give a false impression. He has worked mainly in the Theatre, all over the country, in more plays than he can remember from Shakespeare to Pantomime. He has also appeared on television and the odd feature film, some odder than others. He can be seen in countless training and safety videos, mostly in oil refineries, and has narrated many documentaries. He has also been heard in many Radio Dramas for the BBC.
In 2009 Robert produced four short dramatised monologues for WCR. Robert is now head of drama at WCR and is planning further dramatic entertainment including a serialisation of an exciting novel set in World War II.
