Chico was a great supporter of WCR from their early beginnings in 1996.  As a professional singer/songwriter/musician he was always keen to promote the local flavour that the station stood for.  He became a regular guest on shows and his music was featured alongside work from other local musicians he was keen to promote.  Chico was bitten by the broadcasting bug and took up the training to become a presenter to promote his style of roots music more.  The ‘Roots and Roll’ show features a wide range of Chico's choices from his genre and very often listeners are treated to live sessions from his guests.  These sessions are quite special and should not be missed.
