Hazel joined WCR in the late 1990s when the station was very young.  She became an accomplished presenter acquiring the nickname "Sparky" and began helping with many other aspects of the station's development.  In 2006 she became Assistant Station Manager and in 2007 assumed the role of Station Manager and Trustee.  She works as a children's nursery professional.  Hazel's interests include kite-boarding, ghost hunting and scuba diving. She likes good rock and pop music especially Jools Holland.
