John was bitten by the bug of radio presenting in 2006 and reckons he ought to leave a bed in the WCR studios because there’s always something to do there! He was born in Southampton a long time ago and spent his childhood years on the edge of the New Forest in Hythe before moving to Warminster some 35 years ago. He is a Scientist in the Defence Industry and is fascinated by all things technological; aircraft, boats, cars and electronic gadgets to name but a few. He also enjoys gardening, visits to the coast, and the odd bit of DIY. Music is his main passion as he is an acoustic and electric guitarist but is still learning with 40 year old ‘L’ plates! He also enjoys his activities as Secretary of the United Church in Warminster and as a Governor of a Primary School. |
