Born in North Carolina, Fran became an elementary school teacher and moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she met husband Stephen from Trowbridge. They both were music lovers, he jazz and Fran choral, country and barbershop. Fran was actually one of a 77 member ladies award winning semi-professional chorus and then the lead in a registered quartet. Then, proudly as the parents of two sons, the family moved to Warminster in 1985 where both got involved in community work. Stephen was mayor in 2000 and Fran received The Civic Award in 2006. Fran has been chairman of The Fudge Trust for Warminster for 13 years and a presenter for WCR all that time too.
