I've been involved with music all my life. A mobile DJ from the late 1970s to the present day, I took a break for a few years after the birth of my daughter in the mid 80s and then went back on the road. At the time, country music was not on my radar until my roadie brother-in-law took me to a country night. The rest, as they say, is history.

As well as discos, I ventured into radio, spending four years at Cotswold Hospital Radio in the early 1980s. At the end of the 80s, and getting restless, I threw myself into country and line dance. I moved from the Forest of Dean to Warminster and joined WCR in 2017. That was the start of the Country Junkie Radio Show, bringing country music from the 1980s to the present day. I'm now also responsible for Stateside, with hits from the USA dating back to the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
