The Media Centre has had its planning permission approved, and technical drawings are being finalised, and fundraising has begun.
The specialist centre will be built at Kingdown school in Warminster and will house the community radio station, training studios, recording studios and a range of services available to clubs and groups in the area. The project will cost around £500,000 to complete and is phased over three years. All aspects of the community should benefit from this: students, adults, disabled, bands, musicians and seniors. It is also hoped to have an outreach vehicle to bring media training to those who cannot travel.
