Chico Holton

Chico was a great supporter of WCR radio from their early

beginnings in 1996. As a professional singer/songwriter/musician

he was always keen to promote the local flavour that the station

stood for, he became a regular guest on shows and his music was

featured alongside work from other local musicians he was keen to

promote. Chico was bitten by the broadcasting bug a few years ago

and took up the training to become a presenter to promote his style of

roots music more. The "Roots and Roll" show features a wide range of Chico's choices from his genre and

very often listeners are treated to live sessions from his guests. These sessions are quite special and should

not be missed.
